Jean de Waurin's Chronicle of England Volume 6 Books 3-6: The Wars of the Roses
Jean de Waurin was a French Chronicler, from the Artois region, who was born around 1400, and died around 1474. Waurin’s Chronicle of England, Volume 6, covering the period 1450 to 1471, from which we have selected and translated Chapters relating to the Wars of the Roses, provides a vivid, original, contemporary description of key events some of which he witnessed first-hand, some of which he was told by the key people involved with whom Waurin had a personal relationship.

He the son of [his grandfather] John Parker 1st Earl Morley and [his grandmother] Frances Talbot Countess Morley [aged 60]. They were second cousins.
On 11th June 1843 Albert Parker 3rd Earl Morley was born to [his father] Edmund Parker 2nd Earl Morley [aged 33] and [his mother] Harriet Sophia Parker Countess Morley [aged 34]. Coefficient of inbreeding 1.56%.
On 28th August 1864 [his father] Edmund Parker 2nd Earl Morley [aged 54] died. His son Albert [aged 21] succeeded 3rd Earl Morley, 3rd Viscount Boringdon of North Malton in Devon, 4th Baron Boringdon.

On 19th April 1877 [his son] Edmund Parker 4th Earl Morley was born to Albert Parker 3rd Earl Morley [aged 33] and [his wife] Margaret Holford Countess Morley [aged 22].
On 9th June 1877 Albert Henry George Grey 4th Earl Grey [aged 25] and [his sister-in-law] Alice Holford Countess Grey were married. She by marriage Countess Grey.
On 13th October 1878 [his son] Montagu Brownlow Parker 5th Earl Morley was born to Albert Parker 3rd Earl Morley [aged 35] and [his wife] Margaret Holford Countess Morley [aged 23].
On 22nd June 1886 [his son] John Holford Parker was born to Albert Parker 3rd Earl Morley [aged 43] and [his wife] Margaret Holford Countess Morley [aged 31]. He married 1919 Marjory Katharine, daughter of John Townshend St Aubyn 2nd Baron St Levan and Edith Hilaria Edgecumbe, and had issue.
