Chronicle of a Bourgeois of Valenciennes
Récits d’un bourgeois de Valenciennes aka The Chronicle of a Bourgeois of Valenciennes is a vivid 14th-century vernacular chronicle written by an anonymous urban chronicler from Valenciennes in the County of Hainaut. In 1747 Arthur Onslow (age 55) was elected Speaker of the House of Commons unanimously.
On 26th June 1753 [his son] George Onslow 1st Earl Onslow (age 21) and [his daughter-in-law] Henrietta Shelley Countess Onslow (age 22) were married.
In 1754 Arthur Onslow (age 62) was elected Speaker of the House of Commons unanimously.
