On 9th June 1864 Edward Heneage 1st Baron Heneage (age 24) and Eleanor Cecilia Hare (age 19) were married. She the daughter of William Hare 2nd Earl Listowel and Maria Augusta Windham Countess Listowel (age 59).
In 1865 Edward Heneage 1st Baron Heneage (age 24) was elected MP Lincoln which seat he held until 1868.
On 31st August 1865 [his brother-in-law] William Hare 3rd Earl of Listowel (age 32) and Ernestine Mary Brudenell-Bruce Countess Listowell (age 18) were married. She by marriage Countess Listowel in County Kerry. She the daughter of Ernest Brudenell-Bruce 3rd Marquess Ailesbury (age 54) and Louisa Elizabeth Horsley Beresford Marchioness Ailesbury (age 51). He the son of William Hare 2nd Earl Listowel and [his mother-in-law] Maria Augusta Windham Countess Listowel (age 60).
On 3rd July 1866 [his son] Lieutenant-Colonel George Edward Heneage 2nd Baron Heneage was born to Edward Heneage 1st Baron Heneage (age 26) and [his wife] Eleanor Cecilia Hare (age 21).
On 24th June 1877 [his son] Reverend Thomas Robert Heneage 3rd Baron Heneage was born to Edward Heneage 1st Baron Heneage (age 37) and [his wife] Eleanor Cecilia Hare (age 32).
In 1880 Edward Heneage 1st Baron Heneage (age 39) was appointed High Sheriff of Lincolnshire.
In 1880 Edward Heneage 1st Baron Heneage (age 39) was elected MP Grimsby which seat he held until 1895.

In 1536, two weeks after the execution of Anne Boleyn, her brother George and four others, Lancelot du Carle, wrote an extraordinary letter that described Anne's life, and her trial and execution, to which he was a witness. This book presents a new translation of that letter, with additional material from other contemporary sources such as Letters, Hall's and Wriothesley's Chronicles, the pamphlets of Wynkyn the Worde, the Memorial of George Constantyne, the Portuguese Letter and the Baga de Secrets, all of which are provided in Appendices.

On 10th August 1922 Edward Heneage 1st Baron Heneage (age 82) died. His son George (age 56) succeeded 2nd Baron Heneage of Hainton in Lincolnshire.
