After 16th December 1547 [his step-father] Robert Keilway (age 50) and [his mother] Cecily Bulstrode (age 32) were married.
On 3rd June 1550 John Dudley 2nd Earl Warwick (age 23) and [his future wife] Anne Seymour Countess of Warwick (age 12) were married at Sheen Palace [Map]. She the daughter of Edward Seymour 1st Duke of Somerset (age 50) and [his future mother-in-law] Anne Stanhope Duchess Somerset (age 53). He the son of John Dudley 1st Duke Northumberland (age 46) and Jane Guildford Duchess Northumberland (age 41). They were fifth cousin once removed. She a great x 5 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.
In 1554 Edward Unton (age 20) was elected MP Malmesbury.
In 1554 Edward Unton (age 20) was elected MP Oxfordshire.
In or after 1555 [his daughter] Anne Unton was born to Edward Unton (age 21) and [his future wife] Anne Seymour Countess of Warwick (age 17).
On 29th April 1555 Edward Unton (age 21) and Anne Seymour Countess of Warwick (age 17) were married. They had seven children. She the daughter of Edward Seymour 1st Duke of Somerset and Anne Stanhope Duchess Somerset (age 58).
Around 1556 [his son] Edward Unton was born to Edward Unton (age 22) and [his wife] Anne Seymour Countess of Warwick (age 18).
Around 1558 [his son] Henry Unton was born to Edward Unton (age 24) and [his wife] Anne Seymour Countess of Warwick (age 20).
In 1559 [his brother-in-law] Edward Seymour 1st Earl Hertford (age 19) was created 1st Earl Hertford, 1st Baron Beauchamp of Hatch Beauchamp in Somerset.

The Chronicle of Walter of Guisborough, a canon regular of the Augustinian Guisborough Priory, Yorkshire, formerly known as The Chronicle of Walter of Hemingburgh, describes the period from 1066 to 1346. Before 1274 the Chronicle is based on other works. Thereafter, the Chronicle is original, and a remarkable source for the events of the time. This book provides a translation of the Chronicle from that date. The Latin source for our translation is the 1849 work edited by Hans Claude Hamilton. Hamilton, in his preface, says: "In the present work we behold perhaps one of the finest samples of our early chronicles, both as regards the value of the events recorded, and the correctness with which they are detailed; Nor will the pleasing style of composition be lightly passed over by those capable of seeing reflected from it the tokens of a vigorous and cultivated mind, and a favourable specimen of the learning and taste of the age in which it was framed." He the son of Edward Seymour 1st Duke of Somerset and [his mother-in-law] Anne Stanhope Duchess Somerset (age 63). They were sixth cousins. He a great x 5 grandson of King Edward III of England. She a great granddaughter of King Henry VII of England and Ireland.
Around 1561 [his daughter] Cicely Unton was born to Edward Unton (age 27) and [his wife] Anne Seymour Countess of Warwick (age 23).
Henry Machyn's Diary. 19th November 1562. The xix day of November at after-non was [a] fray with-owtt Tempull-bare agaynst master Huntun (age 28) ['s house?] that mared my [his wife] lady of Warwyke (age 24) and ther was sl[ain] master Banaster, servand unto master Huntun, by (blank)

Sir Edward Unton, K.B. on the 29th April, 1555, married Anne, one of the daughters of the protector Somerset, and widow of John Dudley, earl of Warwick, the eldest son of John duke of Northumberland. In 1579 [his son] Edward Unton (age 23) and [his daughter-in-law] Katherine Hastings (age 22) were married. There were no children from the marriage. She the daughter of George Hastings 4th Earl Huntingdon (age 39) and Dorothy Port Countess Huntingdon. He the son of Edward Unton (age 45) and [his wife] Anne Seymour Countess of Warwick (age 41). They were half fifth cousin once removed.
In 1580 [his son] Henry Unton (age 22) and [his daughter-in-law] Dorothy Wroughton Lady Shirley (age 10) were married. He the son of Edward Unton (age 46) and [his wife] Anne Seymour Countess of Warwick (age 42).
In 1582 [his brother-in-law] Edward Seymour 1st Earl Hertford (age 42) and Frances Howard Countess Hertford (age 28) were married. She by marriage Countess Hertford. He the son of Edward Seymour 1st Duke of Somerset and [his mother-in-law] Anne Stanhope Duchess Somerset (age 85). They were half sixth cousins. He a great x 5 grandson of King Edward III of England.
On 16th September 1582 Edward Unton (age 48) died. He was buried at All Saints' Church, Faringdon. The inscription on his monument ... Here lyeth Sir Edward Unton, Knight of the Noble Order of the Bathe, whoe married [his wife] Anne Countess of Warwick (age 44), daughter of Edwarde Seymer Duke of Somersett and Protector of England, by whome he had ffive sonnes, whereof 3 died younge in the life of their father; Two, namelye [his son] Edwarde (age 26) and [his son] Henry (age 24) onely, survyved and succeeded him, the one after the other in their father's inheritance; and two daughters, [his daughter] Anne (age 27) married to Sir [his future son-in-law] Valentine Knightley (age 27), Knight, and [his daughter] Scissil (age 21) married to [his future son-in-law] John Wentworth (age 18), Esquire.
In 1588 [his former wife] Anne Seymour Countess of Warwick (age 50) died.
