Biography of George Berney Brograve 2nd Baronet 1772-1828

On 4th February 1772 George Berney Brograve 2nd Baronet was born to [his father] Berney Brograve 1st Baronet (age 45).

On 28th July 1791 [his father] Berney Brograve 1st Baronet (age 64) was created 1st Baronet Brograve of Worstead House in Norfolk.

On 23rd February 1797 [his father] Berney Brograve 1st Baronet (age 70) died. His son George (age 25) succeeded 2nd Baronet Brograve of Worstead House in Norfolk.

In 1798 George Berney Brograve 2nd Baronet (age 25) and Emma Louisa Whitwell Lady Brograve were married. She by marriage Lady Brograve of Worstead House in Norfolk.

On 8th July 1807 Captain Masham Elwin was put on trial for criminal conversation with George Brograve's (age 35) wife [his wife] Emma Louisa Whitwell Lady Brograve. Elwin was found guilty and ordered to pay damages to Brograve of two thousand pounds.

On 28th April 1809 the marriage George Berney Brograve 2nd Baronet (age 37) and [his wife] Emma Louisa Whitwell Lady Brograve was dissolved by an Act of Parliament. She married Captain Masham Elwin three days later.

On 1st June 1828 George Berney Brograve 2nd Baronet (age 56) died. Baronet Brograve of Worstead House in Norfolk extinct.
