Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke
Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. The translation takes as its source the 'Chronicon Galfridi le Baker de Swynebroke' published in 1889, edited by Edward Maunde Thompson.

On 12th October 1896 [his grandfather] William Fitzherbert 4th Baronet (age 88) died. His son [his father] Richard (age 50) succeeded 5th Baronet Fitzherbert of Tissington in Derbyshire. [his mother] Mary Anne Arkwright Lady Fitzherbert (age 46) by marriage Lady Fitzherbert of Tissington in Derbyshire.
On 4th January 1906 [his father] Richard Fitzherbert 5th Baronet (age 59) died. His son Hugo (age 33) succeeded 6th Baronet Fitzherbert of Tissington in Derbyshire.

Richard Fitzherbert 5th Baronet: On 12th April 1846 he was born to William Fitzherbert 4th Baronet and Ann Alleyne Lady Fitzherbert. On 10th October 1871 Richard Fitzherbert 5th Baronet and Mary Anne Arkwright Lady Fitzherbert were married at St Mary's Church, Cromford [Map]. On 12th October 1896 William Fitzherbert 4th Baronet died. His son Richard succeeded 5th Baronet Fitzherbert of Tissington in Derbyshire. Mary Anne Arkwright Lady Fitzherbert by marriage Lady Fitzherbert of Tissington in Derbyshire.

On 15th June 1920 Hugo Meynell FitzHerbert 6th Baronet (age 47) and Diana Isabel Erskine Lady Fitzherbert (age 28) were married. She by marriage Lady Fitzherbert of Tissington in Derbyshire.
In 1930 Hugo Meynell FitzHerbert 6th Baronet (age 57) and Diana Isabel Erskine Lady Fitzherbert (age 37) were divorced.
On 5th January 1931 Hugo Meynell FitzHerbert 6th Baronet (age 58) and Muriel Dorey Lady Fitzherbert were married. She by marriage Lady Fitzherbert of Tissington in Derbyshire.
On 12th September 1934 Hugo Meynell FitzHerbert 6th Baronet (age 62) died. His brother [his brother] William (age 59) succeeded 7th Baronet Fitzherbert of Tissington in Derbyshire. Nora Maitland Lady Fitzherbert (age 59) by marriage Lady Fitzherbert of Tissington in Derbyshire.

William FitzHerbert 7th Baronet: On 21st September 1874 he was born to Richard Fitzherbert 5th Baronet and Mary Anne Arkwright Lady Fitzherbert. On 24th October 1889 William FitzHerbert 7th Baronet and Nora Maitland Lady Fitzherbert were married. She the daughter of Frederick Maitland 13th Earl of Lauderdale.
Nora Maitland Lady Fitzherbert: On 21st March 1875 she was born to Frederick Maitland 13th Earl of Lauderdale.
On 19th April 1948 [his former wife] Diana Isabel Erskine Lady Fitzherbert (age 56) died.
Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.
