Paternal Family Tree: Reade
On 13th January 1784 [his father] John Reade 6th Baronet (age 21) and [his mother] Jane Hoskyns Lady Reade (age 29) were married at St Marylebone Church.
On 13th January 1785 John Chandos Reade 7th Baronet was born to [his father] John Reade 6th Baronet (age 22) and [his mother] Jane Hoskyns Lady Reade (age 30). He was baptised at St Marylebone Church.
On 7th November 1789 [his father] John Reade 6th Baronet (age 27) died. He was buried at St Mary the Virgin Church, Shipton-under-Wychwood. His son John (age 4) succeeded 7th Baronet Reade of Barton in Berkshire.
On 27th April 1804 John Chandos Reade 7th Baronet (age 19) matriculated Christ Church College, Oxford University as a Gentleman Commoner.
In 1811 John Chandos Reade 7th Baronet (age 25) was appointed High Sheriff of Oxfordshire.
On 6th January 1814 John Chandos Reade 7th Baronet (age 28) and Louisa Murray Lady Reade were married at St James' Church, Piccadilly. She by marriage Lady Reade of Barton in Berkshire. They had five children of whom four predeceased him. One, Emily, described as an imbecile, died 23rd November 1897.
On 6th February 1821 [his wife] Louisa Murray Lady Reade died.
On 14th January 1868 John Chandos Reade 7th Baronet (age 83) died. He was buried at St Philip's Church, Little Rollright. His will makes no mention of any relative, but (to the exclusion of his heir at law) devises the Shipton Court estate and (with trifling exception) all his real and personal estate to Joseph Wakefield, apparently his servant, whom he directs to take his name. The will was declared valid, and pr. 24 June 1868 when the devise took effect. His great nephew Chandos (age 16) succeeded 8th Baronet Reade of Barton in Berkshire.
