Biography of John Charles Felix Rossi 1762-1839

John Charles Felix Rossi 1762-1839 is in Sculptors.

On 8th March 1762 John Charles Felix Rossi was born.

After 18th April 1817. Monument to Catherine Maria Whalley nee Packe at Church of St Mary Magdalene, Ecton [Map] sculpted by John Charles Felix Rossi (age 55).

In 1818 Richard James Wyatt (age 22) exhibited at the Royal Academy a piece entitled the Judgment of Paris, and in 1819 a monument to Lady Anne Hudson. He served his apprenticeship under John Charles Felix Rossi (age 55).

On 21st February 1839 John Charles Felix Rossi (age 76) died.

Beneath are deposited the Remains of Mrs. Mary Rossi, Wife of Charles Rossi (deceased), R.A, Died July 30th, 1804. Aged 38 years. Also to the Memory of Charles Rossi, R.A., Who Departed this life Feb. 21st, 1839, in the 77thyear of his age. Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.
