On 9th July 1684 [his father] Henry Hobart 4th Baronet (age 27) and [his mother] Elizabeth Maynard Lady Hobart were married. She by marriage Lady Hobart of Intwood in Norfolk.
On 11th October 1693 John Hobart 1st Earl Buckinghamshire was born to [his father] Henry Hobart 4th Baronet (age 36) and [his mother] Elizabeth Maynard Lady Hobart.
On 20th August 1698 [his father] Henry Hobart 4th Baronet (age 41) died from wounds he had received in a duel with Oliver le Neve (age 36) at Cawston Heath, Norfolk. His son John (age 4) succeeded 5th Baronet Hobart of Intwood in Norfolk.
On 2nd March 1706 [his brother-in-law] Charles Howard 9th Earl Suffolk (age 31) and [his sister] Henrietta Hobart Countess Suffolk (age 17) were married at St Benet's Church, Paul's Wharf [Map]. He the son of Henry Howard 5th Earl Suffolk (age 78) and Mary Stewart.
In 1710 John Hobart 1st Earl Buckinghamshire (age 16) admitted at Clare College, Cambridge University.
In 1714 [his sister] Henrietta Hobart Countess Suffolk (age 25) was appointed Lady of the Bedchamber to Caroline Hohenzollern Queen Consort England (age 30).
In 1715 John Hobart 1st Earl Buckinghamshire (age 21) was elected MP St Ives.
In 1717 John Hobart 1st Earl Buckinghamshire (age 23) and Judith Britiffe were married. She by marriage Lady Hobart of Intwood in Norfolk.
In 1719 John Hobart 1st Earl Buckinghamshire (age 25) was appointed Vice Admiral: Norfolk.
In 1722 John Hobart 1st Earl Buckinghamshire (age 28) was elected MP St Ives.
William of Worcester's Chronicle of England
William of Worcester, born around 1415, and died around 1482 was secretary to John Fastolf, the renowned soldier of the Hundred Years War, during which time he collected documents, letters, and wrote a record of events. Following their return to England in 1440 William was witness to major events. Twice in his chronicle he uses the first person: 1. when writing about the murder of Thomas, 7th Baron Scales, in 1460, he writes '… and I saw him lying naked in the cemetery near the porch of the church of St. Mary Overie in Southwark …' and 2. describing King Edward IV's entry into London in 1461 he writes '… proclaimed that all the people themselves were to recognize and acknowledge Edward as king. I was present and heard this, and immediately went down with them into the city'. William’s Chronicle is rich in detail. It is the source of much information about the Wars of the Roses, including the term 'Diabolical Marriage' to describe the marriage of Queen Elizabeth Woodville’s brother John’s marriage to Katherine, Dowager Duchess of Norfolk, he aged twenty, she sixty-five or more, and the story about a paper crown being placed in mockery on the severed head of Richard, 3rd Duke of York.

He married (1) his sixth cousin Mary Anne Drury Countess Buckinghamshire, daughter of Thomas Drury 1st Baronet and Martha Tyrrell Lady Drury, and had issue (2) before 20th February 1772 Caroline Conolly Countess Buckinghamshire and had issue.
In 1725 [his daughter] Dorothy Hobart was born to John Hobart 1st Earl Buckinghamshire (age 31) and [his wife] Judith Britiffe. She married 21st October 1752 Charles Hotham-Thompson 8th Baronet, son of Beaumont Hotham 7th Baronet.
In 1727 John Hobart 1st Earl Buckinghamshire (age 33) was elected MP Bere Alston.
On 7th February 1727 [his wife] Judith Britiffe died.
On 11th October 1727 John Hobart 1st Earl Buckinghamshire (age 34) was created 1st Baron Hobart at Westminster Abbey [Map] during the Coronation of George II.
On 10th February 1728 John Hobart 1st Earl Buckinghamshire (age 34) and Elizabeth Bristow Countess Buckinghamshire were married. She by marriage Lady Hobart of Intwood in Norfolk.
On 22nd June 1731 Edward Howard 8th Earl Suffolk (age 59) died. His brother [his brother-in-law] Charles (age 56) succeeded 9th Earl Suffolk. [his sister] Henrietta Hobart Countess Suffolk (age 42) by marriage Countess Suffolk.
On 8th September 1731 [his son] George Hobart 3rd Earl Buckinghamshire was born to John Hobart 1st Earl Buckinghamshire (age 37) and [his wife] Elizabeth Bristow Countess Buckinghamshire. He married 16th May 1757 Albinia Bertie Countess Buckinghamshire and had issue.
In 1735 [his brother-in-law] George Berkeley (age 54) and [his sister] Henrietta Hobart Countess Suffolk (age 46) were married. He the son of Charles Berkeley 2nd Earl Berkeley and Elizabeth Noel Countess Berkeley.
In 1738 [his son] Henry Hobart was born to John Hobart 1st Earl Buckinghamshire (age 44) and [his wife] Elizabeth Bristow Countess Buckinghamshire. He married 22nd July 1761 Anne Margaret Bristow and had issue.
In 1739 John Hobart 1st Earl Buckinghamshire (age 45) was appointed Lord Lieutenant of Norfolk.
In 1746 John Hobart 1st Earl Buckinghamshire (age 52) was created 1st Earl Buckinghamshire. [his wife] Elizabeth Bristow Countess Buckinghamshire by marriage Countess Buckinghamshire.

On 12th September 1762 [his former wife] Elizabeth Bristow Countess Buckinghamshire died.
