On 24th April 1604 [his father] Edward Peyton 2nd Baronet (age 24) and [his mother] Martha Livesey were married.
On or before 2nd November 1607 John Peyton 3rd Baronet was born to Edward Peyton 2nd Baronet (age 27) and Martha Livesey. He was baptised on 2nd November 1607.
In 1613 [his mother] Martha Livesey died.
On 6th June 1614 [his father] Edward Peyton 2nd Baronet (age 34) and [his step-mother] Jane Calthorpe (age 24) were married. They were fourth cousin once removed.
On 6th November 1627 John Peyton 3rd Baronet (age 20) was admitted to Gray's Inn.
On 31st January 1631 John Peyton 3rd Baronet (age 23) and Mary Bellingham (age 21) were married.
In or after 1633 John Peyton 3rd Baronet (age 25) and Dorothy Hobart (age 16) were married.
On or before 29th January 1633 [his wife] Mary Bellingham (age 23) died. She was buried on 29th January 1633.
On 13th December 1638 [his father] Edward Peyton 2nd Baronet (age 58) and Dorothy Minshaw were married.
On or before 8th February 1641 [his wife] Dorothy Hobart (age 24) died. She was buried 8th February 1641.
In April 1657 [his father] Edward Peyton 2nd Baronet (age 77) died at Wicken. He was buried at St Clement Danes. His son John (age 49) succeeded 3rd Baronet Peyton of Isleham.

The Chronicle of Walter of Guisborough, a canon regular of the Augustinian Guisborough Priory, Yorkshire, formerly known as The Chronicle of Walter of Hemingburgh, describes the period from 1066 to 1346. Before 1274 the Chronicle is based on other works. Thereafter, the Chronicle is original, and a remarkable source for the events of the time. This book provides a translation of the Chronicle from that date. The Latin source for our translation is the 1849 work edited by Hans Claude Hamilton. Hamilton, in his preface, says: "In the present work we behold perhaps one of the finest samples of our early chronicles, both as regards the value of the events recorded, and the correctness with which they are detailed; Nor will the pleasing style of composition be lightly passed over by those capable of seeing reflected from it the tokens of a vigorous and cultivated mind, and a favourable specimen of the learning and taste of the age in which it was framed." Around 1666 John Peyton 3rd Baronet (age 58) died. His son [his son] John succeeded 4th Baronet Peyton of Isleham.
