Biography of John Savile 4th Earl Mexborough 1810-1899

In 1807 [his father] John Savile 3rd Earl Mexborough (age 23) and [his mother] Anne Yorke Countess Mexborough (age 24) were married. She the daughter of [his grandfather] Philip Yorke 3rd Earl of Hardwicke (age 49) and [his grandmother] Elizabeth Lindsay Countess Hardwicke (age 43). He the son of [his grandfather] John Savile 2nd Earl Mexborough (age 45) and [his grandmother] Elizabeth Stephenson Countess Mexborough (age 45).

On 4th June 1810 John Savile 4th Earl Mexborough was born to John Savile 3rd Earl Mexborough (age 26) and Anne Yorke Countess Mexborough (age 27).

In 1842 John Savile 4th Earl Mexborough (age 31) and Rachel Katherine Walpole (age 18) were married. She the daughter of Horatio Walpole 3rd Earl Orford (age 58) and Mary Fawkener Countess Orford (age 54). He the son of John Savile 3rd Earl Mexborough (age 58) and Anne Yorke Countess Mexborough (age 59).

In 1843 [his son] John Horace Savile 5th Earl Mexborough was born to John Savile 4th Earl Mexborough (age 32) and [his wife] Rachel Katherine Walpole (age 19).

On 21st June 1854 [his wife] Rachel Katherine Walpole (age 30) died.

On 25th December 1860 [his father] John Savile 3rd Earl Mexborough (age 77) died. His son John (age 50) succeeded 4th Earl Mexborough of Lifford in County Donegal.

In July 1861 John Savile 4th Earl Mexborough (age 51) and Agnes Louisa Elizabeth Raphael were married at St Mary's Church, Bryanston Square, Marylebone at which time he converted to his wife's Cathloic faith. He the son of John Savile 3rd Earl Mexborough and Anne Yorke Countess Mexborough (age 78).

On 24th April 1867 [his son] John Horace Savile 5th Earl Mexborough (age 24) and [his daughter-in-law] Venetia Stanley Errington Countess Mexborough were married. She by marriage Countess Mexborough of Lifford in County Donegal. He the son of John Savile 4th Earl Mexborough (age 56) and [his former wife] Rachel Katherine Walpole.

In 1868 [his son] John Henry Savile 6th Earl Mexborough was born to John Savile 4th Earl Mexborough (age 57) and [his wife] Agnes Louisa Elizabeth Raphael.

On 17th July 1870 [his mother] Anne Yorke Countess Mexborough (age 87) died.

In 1898 [his wife] Agnes Louisa Elizabeth Raphael died.

On 17th August 1899 John Savile 4th Earl Mexborough (age 89) died at Brighton. His son [his son] John (age 56) succeeded 5th Earl Mexborough of Lifford in County Donegal.

John Henry Savile 6th Earl Mexborough: In 1868 he was born to John Savile 4th Earl Mexborough and Agnes Louisa Elizabeth Raphael. On 15th July 1905 John Henry Savile 6th Earl Mexborough and Margaret Eva Knatchbull-Hugessen Countess Mexborough were married. He the son of John Savile 4th Earl Mexborough and Agnes Louisa Elizabeth Raphael. On 8th June 1916 John Horace Savile 5th Earl Mexborough died. His half brother John succeeded 6th Earl Mexborough of Lifford in County Donegal. In 1945 John Henry Savile 6th Earl Mexborough died.
