Deeds of King Henry V

Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

On 10th March 1629 Metcalfe Robinson 1st Baronet was born to [his father] William Robinson and [his mother] Frances Metcalfe.

After 1638 [his father] William Robinson and Mary Bamburgh were married.

In 1645 Metcalfe Robinson 1st Baronet (age 15) matriculated at St John's College, Oxford University.

In 1658 [his father] William Robinson died.

In 1660 Metcalfe Robinson 1st Baronet (age 30) was elected MP York.

On 30th July 1660 Metcalfe Robinson 1st Baronet (age 31) was created 1st Baronet Robinson of Newby in Yorkshire.

In 1661 Metcalfe Robinson 1st Baronet (age 31) was elected MP York which seat he held until 1679.

In 1685 Metcalfe Robinson 1st Baronet (age 55) was elected MP York which seat he held until 1689.

Chronicle of a Bourgeois of Valenciennes

Récits d’un bourgeois de Valenciennes aka The Chronicle of a Bourgeois of Valenciennes is a vivid 14th-century vernacular chronicle written by an anonymous urban chronicler from Valenciennes in the County of Hainaut. On 6th February 1689 Metcalfe Robinson 1st Baronet (age 59) died without issue. Baronet Robinson of Newby in Yorkshire extinct. He was buried at St Columba's Church, Topcliffe [Map] where he has a large monument.
