On 28th April 1756 Thomas Pelham 2nd Earl Chichester was born to Thomas Pelham 1st Earl Chichester (age 28) and Anne Frankland Countess Chichester (age 21).
Around 1768 Thomas Pelham 2nd Earl Chichester (age 11) educated at Westminster School [Map].
Around 1772 Thomas Pelham 2nd Earl Chichester (age 15) educated at Clare College, Cambridge University.
In 1801 Thomas Pelham 2nd Earl Chichester (age 44) and Mary Henrietta Juliana Osborne Countess Chichester (age 24) were married. The difference in their ages was 20 years. She the daughter of Francis Osborne 5th Duke Leeds and Amelia Darcy 12th Baroness Darcy 9th Baroness Conyers. He the son of Thomas Pelham 1st Earl Chichester (age 72) and Anne Frankland Countess Chichester (age 66).

On 21st June 1811 [his son] John Thomas Pelham was born to Thomas Pelham 2nd Earl Chichester (age 55) and [his wife] Mary Henrietta Juliana Osborne Countess Chichester (age 34).
On 5th March 1813 [his mother] Anne Frankland Countess Chichester (age 78) died.
On 4th July 1826 Thomas Pelham 2nd Earl Chichester (age 70) died. His son [his son] Henry (age 21) succeeded 3rd Earl Chichester, 4th Baron Pelham of Stanmer in Sussex and 8th Baronet Pelham of Laughton.

The Chronicle of Walter of Guisborough, a canon regular of the Augustinian Guisborough Priory, Yorkshire, formerly known as The Chronicle of Walter of Hemingburgh, describes the period from 1066 to 1346. Before 1274 the Chronicle is based on other works. Thereafter, the Chronicle is original, and a remarkable source for the events of the time. This book provides a translation of the Chronicle from that date. The Latin source for our translation is the 1849 work edited by Hans Claude Hamilton. Hamilton, in his preface, says: "In the present work we behold perhaps one of the finest samples of our early chronicles, both as regards the value of the events recorded, and the correctness with which they are detailed; Nor will the pleasing style of composition be lightly passed over by those capable of seeing reflected from it the tokens of a vigorous and cultivated mind, and a favourable specimen of the learning and taste of the age in which it was framed."
