His son Lowry succeeded 4th Earl Enniskillen, 3rd Baron Grinstead of Grinstead in Wiltshire. Charlotte Marion Baird Countess of Enniskillen by marriage Countess Enniskillen. On 28th April 1924 Lowry Cole 4th Earl Enniskillen died.

His son Archibald succeeded 4th Marquess Ailsa. On 27th February 1943 Archibald Kennedy 4th Marquess of Ailsa died.
