Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

Around 1453 Bishop Robert Sherbourne was born in Rolleston on Dove, Staffordshire.
After 1617 Edward Mosley [aged 47] lived at Rolleston on Dove, Staffordshire which house he bought along with a surrounding estate of over 600 acres.
On 16th January 1850 Tonman Mosley 1st Baron Anslow was born to Tonman Mosley 3rd Baronet [aged 36] at East Lodge, Anslow, Burton-upon-Trent. He was baptised at Rolleston on Dove, Staffordshire. He married 2nd February 1881 Hilda Rose Montgomerie Baroness Anslow, daughter of Archibald William Montgomerie 13th Earl Eglinton, and had issue.
In 1520 the Grammar School, Rolleston on Dove was founded by Bishop Robert Sherbourne [aged 67]. When the new primary school was built in 1909, the Grammar school ceased to function.
1640. Edward Mosley 1st Baronet [aged 24] commissioned the re-building of the Grammar School, Rolleston on Dove replacing the original building which had burned down.
Edward Mosley 1st Baronet: In 1616 he was born to Rowland Mosley . On 10th July 1640 Edward Mosley 1st Baronet was created 1st Baronet Mosley of Rolleston in Staffordshire. In 1657 Edward Mosley 1st Baronet died. His son Edward succeeded 2nd Baronet Mosley of Rolleston in Staffordshire.


One mile north of Rolleston on Dove a bridge [Map] crosses the River Dove which river forms the Staffordshire and Derbyshire border, downstream of Tutbury, Staffordshire and upstream of Newton Solney, Derbyshire [Map] where the River Dove joins the River Trent.
