Biography of Ann Todd 1907-1993

On 24th January 1907 Ann Todd was born.

On 27th October 1939 Nigel Trevithick Tangye (age 30) and Ann Todd (age 32) were married.

On 12th March 1949 Nigel Trevithick Tangye (age 39) and Ann Todd (age 42) were divorced.

On 21st May 1949 David Lean (age 41) and Ann Todd (age 42) were married. Both third weddings. She had divorced her second husband Nigel Trevithick Tangye (age 40), his second cousin1, ten weeks before.

Note 1. Her first husband Nigel Trevithick Tangye was a great grandson of Joseph Tangye who was a grandfather of David Lean's mother Helena Tangye (age 77).

On 3rd May 1951 [her former husband] Nigel Trevithick Tangye (age 42) and Marguerite Rose Bligh aka Tangye (age 38) were married. She the daughter of Esme Ivo Bligh 9th Earl of Darnley (age 64) and Daphne Rachel Mulholland.

In 1957 David Lean (age 48) and Ann Todd (age 49) were divorced.

In 1964 [her former husband] Nigel Trevithick Tangye (age 54) and Marguerite Rose Bligh aka Tangye (age 50) were divorced.

Deeds of King Henry V

Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

On 6th May 1993 Ann Todd (age 86) died.
