On 31st May 1613 John George Wettin Elector Saxony was born to John George Wettin Elector Saxony (age 28).
On 20th June 1647 [his son] John George Wettin III Elector Saxony was born to John George Wettin Elector Saxony (age 34).
On 8th October 1656 [his father] John George Wettin Elector Saxony (age 71) died. His son John (age 43) succeeded Elector Saxony.
On 9th October 1666 [his son] John George Wettin III Elector Saxony (age 19) and [his daughter-in-law] Anna Sophie Oldenburg (age 19) were married. She the daughter of Frederick III King Denmark (age 57) and Sophie Amalie Hanover Queen Consort Denmark (age 38). He the son of John George Wettin Elector Saxony (age 53). They were third cousin once removed.
In 1668 John George Wettin Elector Saxony (age 54) was appointed 470th Knight of the Garter by King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland (age 37).
Samuel Pepys' Diary. 19th June 1668. At noon home to dinner, and thence by coach to White Hall, where we attended the Duke of York (age 34) in his closet, upon our usual business. And thence out, and did see many of the Knights of the Garter, with the King (age 38) and Duke of York, going into the Privychamber, to elect the Elector of Saxony (age 55) into that Order, who, I did hear the Duke of York say, was a good drinker: I know not upon what score this compliment is done him.
On 22nd August 1680 John George Wettin Elector Saxony (age 67) died. His son [his son] John (age 33) succeeded Elector Saxony.
