Around 1604 [his father] David Barry died.
On 10th December 1604 David Barry 1st Earl Barrymore was born to David Barry and Elizabeth Power.
On 10th April 1617 [his grandfather] David Barry 5th Viscount Buttevant (age 67) died at Barryscourt Castle. His grandson David (age 12) succeeded 6th Viscount Buttevant.
On 28th February 1628 David Barry 1st Earl Barrymore (age 23) was created 1st Earl Barrymore.
On 4th November 1630 [his son] Richard Barry 2nd Earl Barrymore was born to David Barry 1st Earl Barrymore (age 25) and [his future wife] Alice Boyle Countess Barrymore (age 23).
In 1631 David Barry 1st Earl Barrymore (age 26) and Alice Boyle Countess Barrymore (age 24) were married. She by marriage Countess Barrymore. She the daughter of Richard Boyle 1st Earl Cork (age 64) and Catherine Fenton Countess Cork.
On 5th July 1635 [his brother-in-law] Richard Boyle 2nd Earl Cork 1st Earl Burlington (age 22) and Elizabeth Clifford Countess Burlington (age 21) were married at Skipton Castle [Map]. She by marriage Countess Burlington. She the daughter of Henry Clifford 5th Earl of Cumberland (age 44) and Frances Cecil Countess Cumberland (age 42). He the son of [his father-in-law] Richard Boyle 1st Earl Cork (age 68) and Catherine Fenton Countess Cork.
On 21st July 1641 Charles Rich 4th Earl Warwick (age 26) and [his sister-in-law] Mary Boyle Countess Warwick (age 15) were married at the Church of St Nicholas Shepperton. Her father strongly disapproved due to her husband's lack of fortune. She the daughter of [his father-in-law] Richard Boyle 1st Earl Cork (age 74) and Catherine Fenton Countess Cork. He the son of Robert Rich 2nd Earl Warwick (age 54) and Frances Hatton Countess Warwick.
On 10th May 1642 David Barry 1st Earl Barrymore (age 37) he stormed Castle Careyville, Fermoy, County Cork hanging 40 of the rebels before breakfast.
In July 1642 David Barry 1st Earl Barrymore (age 37) led a regiment at the Battle of Liscarroll.
On 29th September 1642 David Barry 1st Earl Barrymore (age 37) died in Castlelyons, County Cork. He was buried in Youghal, Cork. His son [his son] Richard (age 11) succeeded 2nd Earl Barrymore.
In 1667 [his former wife] Alice Boyle Countess Barrymore (age 60) died.
[his father] David Barry and [his mother] Elizabeth Power were married. They were fourth cousins.
