On 28th August 1799 Nicholas Lawless 1st Baron Cloncurry (age 63) died. His son Valentine (age 26) succeeded 2nd Baron Cloncurry of Cloncurry in Limerick, 2nd Baronet Lawless of Abington in Limerick.
