She the daughter of [her grandfather] King Edward VII of the United Kingdom (age 47) and [her grandmother] Alexandra Glücksburg Queen Consort England (age 44). He the son of [her grandfather] James Duff 5th Earl Fife and [her grandmother] Agnes Georgiana Elizabeth Hay Countess Fife. They were half third cousins. He a great grandson of King William IV of the United Kingdom.
On 3rd April 1893 Princess Maud Duff Countess Southesk was born to Alexander Duff 1st Duke Fife (age 43) and Louise Windsor Duchess Fife (age 26). She a granddaughter of King Edward VII of the United Kingdom.

On 29th January 1912 [her father] Alexander Duff 1st Duke Fife (age 62) died. His daughter [her sister] Princess (age 20) succeeded 2nd Duchess Fife.
On 28th February 1922 Henry Lascelles 6th Earl Harewood (age 39) and Princess Mary Windsor Countess Harewood (age 24) were married at Westminster Abbey [Map]. His best-man was Major Victor Mackenzie 3rd Baronet (age 39). Her bridesmaids included Doris Hilda Gordon-Lennox (age 25), Mary Cambridge Duchess Beaufort (age 24), Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon (age 21), Princess Maud Duff Countess Southesk (age 28), Rachel Cavendish (age 20), Helen Diana Bridgeman (age 14), Mary Beatrice Thynne Baroness Nunburnholme (age 18) and Princess May of Teck (age 16). The wedding was attending by her father and mother [her uncle] King George V of the United Kingdom (age 56) and Victoria Mary Teck Queen Consort England (age 54). She the daughter of King George V of the United Kingdom and Victoria Mary Teck Queen Consort England. He the son of Henry Ulrick Lascelles 5th Earl Harewood (age 75) and Florence Katharine Bridgeman Countess Harewood (age 63).

Charles Alexander Carnegie 11th Earl of Southesk: In 1893 he was born to Charles Noel Carnegie 10th Earl of Southesk and Ethel Mary Elizabeth Bannerman Countess Southesk. On 12th November 1923 Charles Alexander Carnegie 11th Earl of Southesk and Princess Maud Duff Countess Southesk were married at Royal Military Chapel, Wellington Barracks. She the daughter of Alexander Duff 1st Duke Fife and Louise Windsor Duchess Fife. He the son of Charles Noel Carnegie 10th Earl of Southesk and Ethel Mary Elizabeth Bannerman Countess Southesk. On 10th November 1941 Charles Noel Carnegie 10th Earl of Southesk died. His son Charles succeeded 11th Earl Southesk, 7th Baronet Carnegie of Pittarrow in Kincardine. Princess Maud Duff Countess Southesk by marriage Countess Southesk. In 1992 Charles Alexander Carnegie 11th Earl of Southesk died.

On 23rd September 1929 [her son] James George Alexander Bannerman Carnegie 3rd Duke of Fife was born to [her husband] Charles Alexander Carnegie 11th Earl of Southesk (age 36) and Princess Maud Duff Countess Southesk (age 36). He a great grandson of King Edward VII of the United Kingdom.
On 4th January 1931 [her mother] Louise Windsor Duchess Fife (age 63) died.
On 10th November 1941 [her father-in-law] Charles Noel Carnegie 10th Earl of Southesk (age 87) died. His son [her husband] Charles (age 48) succeeded 11th Earl Southesk, 7th Baronet Carnegie of Pittarrow in Kincardine. Princess Maud Duff Countess Southesk (age 48) by marriage Countess Southesk.
On 14th December 1945 Princess Maud Duff Countess Southesk (age 52) died.
