On 31st March 1795 Henry Vaughan aka Halford 1st Baronet (age 28) and Elizabeth Barbara St John Lady Halford (age 33) were married.
In 1797 [his son] Henry Halford 2nd Baronet was born to Henry Vaughan aka Halford 1st Baronet (age 30) and [his wife] Elizabeth Barbara St John Lady Halford (age 34).

In 1812 Henry Vaughan aka Halford 1st Baronet (age 45) was appointed physician in ordinary to King George III (age 73).
In 1815 Henry Vaughan aka Halford 1st Baronet (age 48) changed his surname from Vaughan to Halford by Private Act of Parliament; 55 George III. c. 82: An Act for continuing and confirming on Sir Henry Halford Baronet, and the Heirs Male of his Body, the Surname and Arms of Halford only.

The Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke. Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. The translation takes as its source the 'Chronicon Galfridi le Baker de Swynebroke' published in 1889, edited by Edward Maunde Thompson. Available at Amazon in eBook and Paperback.

Before 9th August 1828 [his son] Henry Halford 2nd Baronet (age 31) and [his daughter-in-law] Barbara Vaughan were married. They were half first cousins.
On 17th June 1833 [his wife] Elizabeth Barbara St John Lady Halford (age 71) died.
In 1844 Henry Vaughan aka Halford 1st Baronet (age 77) died. His son [his son] Henry (age 47) succeeded 2nd Baronet Vaughan aka Halford of Wistow in Leicestershire.
