Jean de Waurin was a French Chronicler, from the Artois region, who was born around 1400, and died around 1474. Waurin’s Chronicle of England, Volume 6, covering the period 1450 to 1471, from which we have selected and translated Chapters relating to the Wars of the Roses, provides a vivid, original, contemporary description of key events some of which he witnessed first-hand, some of which he was told by the key people involved with whom Waurin had a personal relationship.

The King has been pleased to grant the Dignity of a Baronet of the Kingdom of Great Britain to Charles Warre Malet [aged 38], Esq; [Baronet Malet of Wilbury in Wiltshire] Resident at Poonah, in the East Indies, and the Heirs Male of his Body lawfully begotten. The King has also been pleased to grant the Dignity of a Baronet of the Kingdom of Great Britain to John Kennaway [aged 32]was created, Esq; Captain of Infantry in the Service of the East India Company, and Resident at Hydrabad, and the Heirs Male of his Body lawfully begotten.
In or before 1797 John Kennaway 1st Baronet [aged 38] and Charlotte Amyatt Lady Kennaway were married. They had seven sons and five daughters. She by marriage Lady Kennaway of Hyderabad.
On 1st January 1836 John Kennaway 1st Baronet [aged 77] died. His son John [aged 39] succeeded 2nd Baronet Kennaway of Hyderabad. Emily Frances Kingscote Lady Kennaway [aged 30] by marriage Lady Kennaway of Hyderabad.
In 1873 John Kennaway 2nd Baronet [aged 76] died. His son John [aged 35] succeeded 3rd Baronet Kennaway of Hyderabad. Frances Arbuthnot Lady Kennaway [aged 30] by marriage Lady Kennaway of Hyderabad.
On 23rd September 1919 John Henry Kennaway 3rd Baronet [aged 82] died. His son John [aged 40] succeeded 4th Baronet Kennaway of Hyderabad.
On 3rd August 1956 John Kennaway 4th Baronet [aged 77] died. His son John [aged 22] succeeded 5th Baronet Kennaway of Hyderabad.
On 22nd October 2017 John Lawrence Kennaway 5th Baronet [aged 84] died. His son John [aged 55] succeeded 6th Baronet Kennaway of Hyderabad.
