Around 893 [her father] King Edward "Elder" of the Anglo Saxons (age 19) and Ecgwynn Unknown Queen Consort Anglo Saxons were married. He the son of [her grandfather] King Alfred "The Great" of Wessex (age 44) and [her grandmother] Æalhswith of Mercia Queen Consort of England.

Death of King Alfred the Great

On 26th October 899 [her grandfather] King Alfred "The Great" of Wessex (age 50) died at Winchester, Hampshire [Map]. He was buried at Hyde Abbey [Map]. His son [her father] Edward (age 25) succeeded King Anglo Saxons. Ecgwynn Unknown Queen Consort Anglo Saxons by marriage Queen Consort Anglo Saxons.

Around 900 [her father] King Edward "Elder" of the Anglo Saxons (age 26) and [her mother] Aelfflaed Wiltshire Queen Anglo Saxons (age 30) were married. She the daughter of [her grandfather] Æthelhelm Earldorman Wiltshire. He the son of [her grandfather] King Alfred "The Great" of Wessex and [her grandmother] Æalhswith of Mercia Queen Consort of England.

Battle of the Holme

On 13th December 902 Æthelwold Prince Wessex revolted against his cousin [her father] King Edward "Elder" of the Anglo Saxons (age 28) helped by the Danes.

Sigehelm Earldorman Kent was killed fighting for King Edward "Elder" of the Anglo Saxons.

Brihtsige Wessex, Ysopa Wessex, Oscetel Wessex and Eohric King East Anglia were killed fighting for Æthelwold Prince Wessex.

Around 919 [her father] King Edward "Elder" of the Anglo Saxons (age 45) and Eadgifu Kent Queen Anglo Saxons were married. She by marriage Queen Anglo Saxons. He the son of [her grandfather] King Alfred "The Great" of Wessex and [her grandmother] Æalhswith of Mercia Queen Consort of England.

On 7th October 919 [her brother-in-law] Charles "Simple" III King West Francia (age 40) and [her sister] Eadgifu Wessex Queen Consort West Francia were married. She by marriage Queen Consort West Francia. She the daughter of [her father] King Edward "Elder" of the Anglo Saxons (age 45) and [her mother] Aelfflaed Wiltshire Queen Anglo Saxons (age 49). He the son of Louis "Stammerer" II King Aquitaine III King West Francia and Adelaide Paris Queen Consort Aquitaine and West Francia.

Death of King Edward the Elder

On 17th July 924 [her father] King Edward "Elder" of the Anglo Saxons (age 50) died. He was buried in St Oswald's Priory [Map]. His son [her half-brother] Æthelstan (age 30) succeeded King Anglo Saxons. His son Æthelstan succeeded I King Anglo Saxons.

Coronation of King Athelstan

On 4th September 925 [her half-brother] King Æthelstan I of England (age 31) was crowned I King Anglo Saxons by Archbishop Athelm, possibly at a site now known as the Coronation Stone, Kingston upon Thames [Map], or possibly in front of St Mary's chapel, which stood at the south-east of All Saint's Church, Kingston upon Thames [Map]. It was the first coronation in which the King wore a Crown rather than a helmet.

Anglo-Saxon Chronicle. 4th September 925. And [her half-brother] Athelstan (age 31) was chosen king in Mercia, and consecrated at Kingston [Map]. He gave his sister to [her future husband] Otho (age 12), son of the [her future father-in-law] king of the Old-Saxons (age 49). St. Dunstan (age 16) was now born; and Wulfhelm took to the archbishopric in Canterbury. This year King Athelstan and Sihtric king of the Northumbrians came together at Tamworth, Staffordshire [Map], the sixth day before the calends of February, and Athelstan gave away his [her half-sister] sister to him.

In 929 Otto I King Germany I King Italy Holy Roman Emperor (age 16) and Eadgyth Wessex Queen Consort Germany were married. She the daughter of King Edward "Elder" of the Anglo Saxons and Aelfflaed Wiltshire Queen Anglo Saxons (age 59). He the son of Henry "Fowler" I King East Francia (age 53) and Matilda Ringelheim Queen Consort East Francia.

Around 930 [her son] Liudolf Saxon Ottonian Duke Swabia was born to [her husband] Otto I King Germany I King Italy Holy Roman Emperor (age 17) and Eadgyth Wessex Queen Consort Germany. He married 948 Ida Swabia, daughter of Herman Swabia 1st Duke Swabia, and had issue.

In 931 [her daughter] Liutgarde Saxon Ottonian was born to [her husband] Otto I King Germany I King Italy Holy Roman Emperor (age 18) and Eadgyth Wessex Queen Consort Germany. She married Conrad "Red" Saxony I Duke Lorraine.

The Deeds of King Henry V, or in Latin Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

Around 932 Æthelstan Half King (age 22) was appointed Earldorman East Anglia by [her half-brother] King Æthelstan I of England (age 38).

In 933 [her brother] Edwin the Ætheling was drowned at sea. The circumstances of his death are unclear. Some sources say a storm caused the ship to sink, some say his brother [her half-brother] King Æthelstan I of England (age 39) sent him to sea in a leaky boat.

On 2nd July 936 [her father-in-law] Henry "Fowler" I King East Francia (age 60) died. His son [her husband] Otto (age 23) succeeded I King Germany, I Duke Saxony. Eadgyth Wessex Queen Consort Germany by marriage Queen Consort Germany.

Battle of Brunanburh

In 937 [her half-brother] King Æthelstan I of England (age 43) and his son [her half-brother] Edmund (age 16) defeated the Scottish, Irish Viking and Strathclyde army at the Battle of Brunanburh. Two of Æthelstan's cousins, Æthelwine Wessex and Aelfwine Wessex were killed.

Archbishop Oda was present although there are no contemporary records of Oda's appearance at the battle. He is said to have miraculously provided a sword to the king when the king's own sword slipped out of its scabbard.

Death of King Athelstan

On 27th October 939 [her half-brother] King Æthelstan I of England (age 45) died in Gloucester [Map]. His half brother [her half-brother] Edmund (age 18) succeeded King of England.

In or before 943 [her half-brother] King Edmund I of England (age 21) and [her sister-in-law] Aelfgifu of Shaftesbury Queen Consort England were married. She by marriage Queen Consort England. He the son of [her father] King Edward "Elder" of the Anglo Saxons and Eadgifu Kent Queen Anglo Saxons.

In or after 944 [her half-brother] King Edmund I of England (age 23) and [her sister-in-law] Æthelflæd of Damerham Queen Consort of England were married. She by marriage Queen Consort England. He the son of [her father] King Edward "Elder" of the Anglo Saxons and Eadgifu Kent Queen Anglo Saxons.

On 26th January 946 Eadgyth Wessex Queen Consort Germany died.

In 951 [her former husband] Otto I King Germany I King Italy Holy Roman Emperor (age 38) and Adelaide Welf Holy Roman Empress (age 20) were married. She by marriage Queen Consort Germany. She the daughter of Rudolph "Pious" II King Burgundy II King Italy and Bertha Swabia Queen Consort Italy. He the son of [her former father-in-law] Henry "Fowler" I King East Francia and Matilda Ringelheim Queen Consort East Francia.

On 7th May 973 [her former husband] Otto I King Germany I King Italy Holy Roman Emperor (age 60) died. His son Otto (age 18) succeeded II King Germany.

Anglo-Saxon Chronicle. 982. In this year came up in Dorsetshire three ships of the pirates, and plundered in Portland. The same year London was burned. In the same year also died two aldermen, Ethelmer in Hampshire, and Edwin in Sussex. Ethelmer's body lieth in Winchester, at New-minster, and Edwin's in the minster at Abingdon [Map]. The same year died two abbesses in Dorsetshire; Herelufa at Shaftsbury, and Wulfwina at Wareham. The same year went [her grandson] Otho (age 28), emperor of the Romans, into Greece; and there met he a great army of the Saracens, who came up from the sea, and would have proceeded forthwith to plunder the Christian folk; but the emperor fought with them. And there was much slaughter made on either side, but the emperor gained the field of battle. He was there, however, much harassed, ere he returned thence; and as he went homeward, his brother's son died, who was also called Otho; and he was the son of [her son] Leodulf Atheling. This Leodulf was the son of [her former husband] Otho the Elder and of the daughter of [her father] King Edward.
