On 11th August 1778 Charles Herbert Pierrepont 2nd Earl Manvers was born to Charles Medows aka Pierrepont 1st Earl Manvers [aged 40] and Anne Mills Countess Manvers [aged 31].

In 1804 Charles Herbert Pierrepont 2nd Earl Manvers [aged 25] and Mary Laetitia Eyre Countess Manvers [aged 19] were married. He the son of Charles Medows aka Pierrepont 1st Earl Manvers [aged 66] and Anne Mills Countess Manvers [aged 57].

On 2nd September 1805 [his son] Charles Evelyn Pierrepont was born to Charles Herbert Pierrepont 2nd Earl Manvers [aged 27] and [his wife] Mary Laetitia Eyre Countess Manvers [aged 20]. He married 16th August 1832 Emily Littleton, daughter of Edward John Walhouse aka Littleton 1st Baron Hatherton and Hyacinthe Mary Wellesley Baroness Hatherton.

On 17th June 1816 [his father] Charles Medows aka Pierrepont 1st Earl Manvers [aged 78] died. He was buried at Church of St Edmund, Holme Pierrepoint [Map]. His son Charles [aged 37] succeeded 2nd Earl Manvers, 2nd Viscount Newark, 2nd Baron Pierrepont of Holme Pierrepoint. [his wife] Mary Laetitia Eyre Countess Manvers [aged 31] by marriage Countess Manvers.

On or before 30th August 1823 [his mother] Anne Mills Countess Manvers [aged 76] died. She was buried at the Church of St Edmund, Holme Pierrepoint [Map].

In 1825 [his son] Sydney William Herbert Pierrepont 3rd Earl Manvers was born to Charles Herbert Pierrepont 2nd Earl Manvers [aged 46] and [his wife] Mary Laetitia Eyre Countess Manvers [aged 40].

On 16th August 1832 Charles Evelyn Pierrepont [aged 26] and Emily Littleton were married. He the son of Charles Herbert Pierrepont 2nd Earl Manvers [aged 54] and Mary Laetitia Eyre Countess Manvers [aged 47].

On 21st August 1845 [his son-in-law] Edward Christopher Egerton [aged 29] and Mary Frances Pierrepont were married. She the daughter of Charles Herbert Pierrepont 2nd Earl Manvers [aged 67] and Mary Laetitia Eyre Countess Manvers [aged 60]. They were half second cousins.

On 21st September 1848 George Frederick Cavendish-Scott-Bentinck [aged 46] died unmarried. He had left his father's home Welbeck Abbey, Nottinghamshire [Map] intending to walk the six miles to Thoresby Hall, Nottinghamshire to dine with Charles Herbert Pierrepont 2nd Earl Manvers [aged 70]. When he didn't arrive at Thoresby Hall, Nottinghamshire a search party was sent to look for him. They discovered his body at nine in the evening. He was buried in the family vault at St Marylebone Church.

On 23rd August 1850 [his son] Charles Evelyn Pierrepont [aged 44] died at Torquay, Devon. He was buried at the Church of St Edmund, Holme Pierrepoint [Map]. His brother Sydney [aged 25] succeeded 3rd Earl Manvers, 3rd Viscount Newark, 3rd Baron Pierrepont of Holme Pierrepoint.
