Jean de Waurin's Chronicle of England Volume 6 Books 3-6: The Wars of the Roses
Jean de Waurin was a French Chronicler, from the Artois region, who was born around 1400, and died around 1474. Waurin’s Chronicle of England, Volume 6, covering the period 1450 to 1471, from which we have selected and translated Chapters relating to the Wars of the Roses, provides a vivid, original, contemporary description of key events some of which he witnessed first-hand, some of which he was told by the key people involved with whom Waurin had a personal relationship.

She by marriage Duchess Bavaria. The difference in their ages was 23 years. She the daughter of [his future father-in-law] Rudolph I King Romans [aged 55] and Gertrude Hohenburg [aged 48]. He the son of Otto "Illustrious" Wittelsbach II Duke Bavaria and Agnes Welf Duchess Bavaria. They were fourth cousin twice removed. He a great x 2 grandson of King Henry "Curtmantle" II of England.
In 1274 [his future brother-in-law] Albert Habsburg I Duke Austria [aged 18] and Elizabeth Carinthia Duchess Austria were married. She by marriage Duchess Austria. He the son of [his future father-in-law] Rudolph I King Romans [aged 55] and Gertrude Hohenburg [aged 49].
On 26th August 1278 [his father] Ottokar "Iron King" II King Bohemia [aged 45] died. His son Wenceslaus [aged 6] succeeded II King Bohemia.
On 24th January 1285 King Wenceslaus II of Bohemia and Poland [aged 13] and Queen Judith of Bohemia and Poland [aged 13] were married. She the daughter of Rudolph I King Romans [aged 66] and Gertrude Hohenburg. He the son of Ottokar "Iron King" II King Bohemia and Kunigunda Rostislavna Přemyslovna [aged 40].
On 9th September 1285 [his mother] Kunigunda Rostislavna Přemyslovna [aged 40] died.
In 1289 [his brother-in-law] Rudolf Habsburg II Duke Austria [aged 19] and [his sister] Agnes Přemyslid Duchess Austria [aged 19] were married. She by marriage Duchess Austria. She the daughter of [his father] Ottokar "Iron King" II King Bohemia and [his mother] Kunigunda Rostislavna Přemyslovna. He the son of [his father-in-law] Rudolph I King Romans [aged 70] and Gertrude Hohenburg.

The Deeds of the Dukes of Normandy
The Gesta Normannorum Ducum [The Deeds of the Dukes of Normandy] is a landmark medieval chronicle tracing the rise and fall of the Norman dynasty from its early roots through the pivotal events surrounding the Norman Conquest of England. On 18th June 1297 [his wife] Queen Judith of Bohemia and Poland [aged 26] died at Prague.
On 21st June 1305 King Wenceslaus II of Bohemia and Poland [aged 33] died.
