On 9th September 1534 [her former husband] Thomas Fiennes 8th Baron Dacre Gilsland [aged 62] died. He was buried at Herstmonceux. His grandson [her grandson] Thomas [aged 19] succeeded 9th Baron Dacre Gilsland, 9th Baron Multon of Gilsland.
